Raising New Voices Initiative (RNVi) is pleased to announce the upcoming NVCF Graduation and Youth Summit, to be held on November 17, 2023, in Osogbo, Nigeria. The summit will bring together young leaders in Osun state including those that have just completed the New Voices Citizens Fellowship (NVCF) program.
New Voices Citizens Fellowship (NVCF), a program of Raising New Voices Initiative (RNVi) with support from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) Nigeria, NVCF is an annual Cohort-based program that empowers and enhances the capacity of young leaders and activists at the community level to participate effectively in politics and carry out impactful project activities in their communities.
The NVCF Graduation and Youth Summit is an annual event that brings together young leaders from across Osun state to share their experiences, learn from each other, and network with other youth leaders. This year's summit will focus on the theme of Youth Leadership in Tough Times, exploring how young people can navigate challenges and make a positive impact in their communities.
The summit will feature keynote speakers, panel discussions, and workshops led by experts on a variety of topics related to youth leadership. Participants will also have the opportunity to connect with other young leaders and develop action plans for their communities.
"The NVCF Graduation and Youth Summit is an important opportunity for young leaders to come together, network and learn from each other," said Victor Terhemba, Executive Director at RNVi. "We believe that young people have the power to make a difference in their respective local governments, and this summit is a platform for them to develop the skills and knowledge they need to do so." said Babawale Popoola, Lead at RNVi.
