, I had the honour of giving pragmatic insight on a theme "Actualizing Nigeria's Development: The Role of Robust Legislation and Decolonized Education System" at Politics and Education Summit (PAES 2.0) organized by the Education and Political Science Students' Association of Nigeria, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife.
Being a lawmaker and an advocate for good and quality education, I outlined pragmatic insight on robust legislation in actualizing development in Nigeria relying on my efforts and contribution as a parliamentarian to the enhancement of education in my constituency. I equivocally highlighted that in ensuring a decolonized educational system for development, there must be an unwavering commitment from the government and sincere dedication by the experts in the academics.
The podium was paired with experts in academics area and public office holders which includes, Professor of Political Science, Prof Afolabi; An Associate Professor in Curriculum Studies, Obadiora, Dean, Faculty of Education, Prof Bello, Dr Mrs Adesina, Dr Oyetoro; Hon. Adekunle Oladimeji, Engr Saheed Soladoye and other intellectual fighters for emancipation (IFE).
Recognizing my exceptional commitment to public service, integrity, and my creation of impactful legislation that benefit the masses, I was presented and Excellence in Legislative Leadership Award.
I am immensely grateful to the organizers of the summit and the entire audience for the commendation of my presentation, while I remain committed to the development of our Nigeria and Osun State at large.
