Osogbo, Osun State
Aremo Adegboyega Adelabu, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former Special Adviser to former Governor Oyetola on Youth and Sports, has appealed to Nigerian youths, including those from Osun State, to embrace the newly launched Nigerian Youth Investment Fund (NYIF) and shun the proposed #EndBadGovernance Protest.
Speaking to newsmen in Osogbo, Adelabu described the NYIF as a "golden opportunity" and a "beacon of hope" for Nigerian youths, urging them to take advantage of the initiative to uplift themselves, their families, and communities.
Adelabu commended the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Administration for launching the NYIF, saying it demonstrates the government's commitment to the welfare of youths.
He noted that the initiative has already generated massive interest, with over 80,000 applications received within 72 hours of its launch, and urged Nigerian youths, including those from Osun State, to be part of the program.
Adelabu warned that the proposed protest would only distract from the progress being made and urged Nigerian youths to unite and work towards a common goal of creating a brighter future.
