The question of why Osun needs continuity is no longer a matter for political argument. It has become a responsibility to the people. The Bibire4Imole Network, under its Patron; Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, Secretary to the State Government, has declared its firm support for the re-election of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, insisting that Osun State cannot afford to interrupt a leadership that is working, stabilising governance, and restoring hope across communities.
According to the network, the call for continuity is based on conviction and the visible results of governance. When Governor Adeleke assumed office, the state faced weakened institutions, financial strain, and a population that had endured years of neglect. Within a relatively short period, the administration has worked to restore calm in governance, prioritise workers’ welfare, reopen democratic participation at the grassroots, and channel public resources toward inclusive development.
Across the state, the impact of these policies is already being felt. From the payment of workers and pensioners to the revitalisation of local governance structures, the Adeleke administration has focused on rebuilding trust between government and the people. The Bibire4Imole Network believes these steps represent a clear departure from the past and must be sustained.
The group notes that loyalty in politics must be earned through performance. Under the guidance of Bobagunwa Teslim Igbalaye, the Bibire4Imole Network says it remains committed to promoting the re-election of Governor Adeleke while also protecting the progress already achieved under his administration.
It also cautioned against attempts by what it described as desperate political actors seeking to destabilise governance through misinformation, distractions, or institutional sabotage. According to the network, Osun has experienced regression in the past and must not return to such a period.
For the Bibire4Imole Network, continuity is not about political advantage but about safeguarding ongoing reforms, completing development projects, and sustaining a people-centred approach to governance.
The group therefore called on citizens across the state including grassroots leaders, youths, workers, and community stakeholders to support the re-election of Governor Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, arguing that protecting the progress already recorded is in the collective interest of Osun State.
As the network puts it, Osun is working again, and halting that momentum would not serve the people. In its view, continuity remains the most sensible path forward.
