OSOGBO — The Osun State Government has announced that the newly constructed Okefia Flyover and Lameco Flyover in Osogbo will be opened to vehicular movement from 4:30pm on Monday, May 25, 2025.
The development, approved under the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, is aimed at easing traffic congestion and improving the free flow of movement within the Osogbo metropolis during the festive period.
In a public notice issued by the Ministry of Works and Infrastructure, the government appreciated motorists and residents of the state for their patience, understanding, and cooperation throughout the construction period.
The statement, signed by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Engr. Bashir Bello, urged road users to comply with traffic regulations and make proper use of the newly opened flyovers.
The Okefia and Lameco flyovers are among key infrastructure projects embarked upon by the Adeleke administration to improve transportation and urban development across Osun State.
