Uniosun Teaching Hospital Boosts Productivity with Donation of Computers and Android Phones to OHIS and NHIS Units

 


Osogbo, Osun State - In a bid to enhance productivity and efficiency, the Management of Uniosun Teaching Hospital, led by the Chief Medical Director, Dr. Babatunde Afolabi, has donated five Dell computer systems and two Android phones to the Office of the Head of Information Systems (OHIS) and National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) units of the hospital.

During the presentation ceremony, Dr. Afolabi commended the workers in both units for their dedication and hard work, urging them to maintain their high level of commitment. He emphasized that the donation was in recognition of the need to boost their performance, particularly with the ongoing review of patients' bills.

 received from personal friends who support his transformation agenda. He expressed optimism that more donations would be forthcoming from other supporters. 

Dr. Afolabi handed over two Dell computers and two Android phones to the Head of OHIS, Dr. Akin Ajayi, who had earlier donated two Android phones to the department. Additionally, three Dell computers were handed over to the Head of NHIS Unit.

Dr. Ajayi, on behalf of the staff, expressed gratitude to the hospital management under Dr. Afolabi's leadership, assuring that the donated items would be utilized optimally to enhance productivity and output.

This gesture underscores the hospital management's commitment to leveraging technology to improve service delivery and patient care.
